리처드 모간은퇴한 장로교 목사로 현재는 노쓰 캐롤라아니아주 모간톤 제일장로교회에서 노인목회 담당 부목사로 봉직중이다. 은퇴 준비와 노년기의 영성 생활에 필요한 책을 여러 권 저술하였다. 지은책으로 <No Wrinkles Oo the Soul : A Book of Reading for Older Adults>(1990), <I Never Found That Rocking Chair : God's Call at Retriement>(1992), <Autumn Wisdom : A Book Readings>(1995), <Beyond Retriement: Toward a Redirected Life>(1999), <Saving Our Stories : A Legacy We Leave>(1999), <Fire in the Soul : A Prayer Book for the Later Years>(2000) 등이 있다. 대표작
